Tennessee Judicial Conference Fund

Purpose and History

East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) oversees the Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation Scholarships. This unique scholarship fund was established to recognize advanced law students who have demonstrated community involvement and/or a commitment to public service.

ATTENTION: There is no online ETF application for this scholarship. The selection process for this scholarship is coordinated through your law school.

Scholarship Amount

Varies. Recipient may be required to attend and participate in the annual Tennessee Judicial Conference. If selected to attend, the recipient’s travel, meals, and lodging expenses will be covered by the Tennessee Judicial Conference Foundation.

Eligibility

  • Education Requirement: Enrolled as a second- or third-year law student at either the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Vanderbilt University, Nashville School of Law, University of Memphis, Belmont University, or Lincoln Memorial University
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Demonstrated community involvement and/or an interest in public service
    • Demonstrated financial need
    • Participation in Law School’s scholarship selection process
