Eligibility

The Lawrence Strader Boy Scouts of America Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors (male or female) who have participated in the Boy Scouts of America, Great Smoky Mountain Council for at least three years and have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, Summit, or Quartermaster. Eligible scouts must have financial need, a high school GPA of at least 2.5,  plans to enroll in college full time and live in one of the following Tennessee counties: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Cumberland, Fentress, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Pickett, Roane, Scott, Sevier, or Union.

Complete the East Tennessee Foundation Common Application between December 15 and March 15 to see if you are eligible for this and other scholarship awards.
