Eligibility

The Candace Mast Veterinary Scholarship is for newly-accepted or currently enrolled DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) students from East Tennessee Foundation’s 25-county service area. Eligible students must be U.S. citizens who achieved at least a 3.0 undergraduate GPA and are attending University of Tennessee, Knoxville or Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. To be eligible for the Candace Mast Veterinary Scholarship students must demonstrate financial need and be committed to a career path in clinical (not research) veterinary medicine. Past recipients of this scholarship are encouraged to reapply each year.
