Norris Area Community Foundation announces 2024 grant opportunity

The Norris Area Community Foundation, an affiliate fund of East Tennessee Foundation (ETF), is now accepting applications for its latest grant cycle. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) public charities, units of government, or public educational institutions. Organizations must propose projects which benefit residents of Norris, Andersonville, Bethel, and Fairview in Anderson County. Funding preference will be given to the following focus areas: youth and young adults; military recognition; humane care of animals; arts with a cultural/historical perspective (all forms of art); community/pedestrian pathways and enhancements; and support for seniors.

Applications must be submitted using ETF’s online grant management system no later than 7:00pm on Friday, March 22, 2024. Grant awards will primarily range from $1,500 to $3,000. Grants will be awarded in early May 2024 for one-year terms beginning May 1, 2024 and concluding April 30, 2025.

The Norris Area Community Foundation was established in 2014 to benefit the communities of Norris, Andersonville, Bethel, and Fairview in Anderson County. To learn more about the grant cycle and to access the online application, visit ETF’s website.
