Respiratory Disease Fund

General Description

Established in 1991, funds are used for purposes directly related to the diagnosis, research, treatment, education, prevention, and cure of respiratory disease in Knox County, TN.

Application Process

The Respiratory Disease Fund will award new grants in 2026.

The application opens May 4, 2026.
The application closes May 29, 2026 at 5:00p.m. Eastern.

Grant Amounts and Terms

Organizations can apply for amounts up to $20,000. Award amounts will be split between year one and year two.

Grants will be awarded for two-year terms in August 2026. The grant term is August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2028.

Additional eligibility criteria specific to Respiratory Disease Fund:
- Proposals must directly relate to the reduction of respiratory disease in Knox County.
- Organizations do not have to reside in Knox County in order to be eligible to apply.
