Kingsport Community Foundation
An affiliate fund of East Tennessee Foundation
Kingsport Community Foundation (KCF) believes in the importance of supporting one’s own community and, with East Tennessee Foundation, stands ready to grow an endowment to accomplish critical community support now and forever. “Honoring the Legacy, Embracing the Future” is what matters most to those affiliated with KCF.
Kingsport Community Foundation was founded in 2000 through gifts from local donors and a matching grant from East Tennessee Foundation. Since then, more than $298,000 has been awarded in grants while building the KCF endowment for future grantmaking. In addition, KCF and ETF have managed a Spirit Campaign totaling more than $5 million dollars and have helped donors to establish their own family funds, also to benefit Kingsport and surrounding communities. In 2017, KCF completed a campaign with the City of Kingsport Centennial Commission to accomplish the Centennial Park Project. Celebrating the Kingsport Spirit, Kingsport’s Centennial Park provides a unique destination and link to downtown Kingsport that commemorates the community’s past, present and future. Kingsport Community Foundation is honored to have assisted with this project.
Embracing the Future also means continued endowed dollars for growth and future grantmaking as Kingsport and surrounding Sullivan County communities’ needs are identified. To accomplish this, KCF asks for your support to continue growing the KCF endowment. This will ensure funds are available ongoing for grantmaking, now and in perpetuity.
You may currently reside in Kingsport or the greater Sullivan County area, may have been born there, spent your childhood or earlier years there, or this may be the community in which you desire to live in the future. Whatever your relationship with these communities, your interest and support is greatly needed and appreciated.

We can accept gifts of many assets of value and encourage you to contact us soon to discuss your gift. We would also enjoy speaking with you regarding a bequest and/or estate gift. If you are ready to make your contribution to the endowment campaign, you can GIVE NOW.
If you prefer to mail a check, please make the check to “Kingsport Community Foundation” and note in the memo section how you want your gift distributed between the two campaigns. Please mail to:
