How to Help:
Our 2025 Renaissance Run Impact
The Norris Area Community Fund was honored to award over $3,000 in community grants at the 2025 Renaissance Run! Thanks to generous sponsors, race participants, and donors, we invested in the following organizations and community needs:
Andersonville Elementary School funded an artistic, fun way to enhance student’s understanding of geography by creating a World Map Mural project in the school cafeteria. This fulfilled a Principal’s dream of giving children, many of whom may never leave their community, the opportunity to see a map of the world every day.
Fairview Elementary School used their grant money for several innovative projects. They made a teacher’s reading table more comfortable, fun and inviting by adding stools and high interest books, added new calming elements to a CDC Sensory room, and provided flexible stools and a yoga ball in a place for students to refocus their “extra energy.”
