PLEASE CONTACT ME WHEN:

Primarily, I’m contacted when a fundholder needs support, guidance, or has a specific request. I always welcome your feedback and would love to hear from you!

ON A TYPICAL WORKDAY I’LL BE:

Most every day I’m working closely with our Foundation team members and fundholders to help ensure service excellence. I have a drive for continuous quality improvement and use this approach in designing and overseeing our philanthropic services.

I CHOSE THIS WORK BECAUSE:

I am happiest when my work enables me to help build a more thriving community. I’m passionate about understanding our region’s needs, supporting our donors and partners, and advancing effective philanthropy.

MORE ABOUT ME:

I bring more than 20 years of community relations experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors to ETF. I began my career in advertising with the Knoxville News Sentinel. Later, as their community relations manager, I negotiated the newspaper’s nonprofit sponsorships and directed the work of News Sentinel Charities, the organization’s 501(c)3 or as it’s commonly known, the Empty Stocking Fund. Most recently, I served as the chief strategy officer for the Knox County Health Department. And in late 2021/early 2022, I served as interim co-director and chief strategy officer of the health department.

A Knoxville native, I hold a communications degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I’m a Class of 2019 graduate of Leadership Knoxville and an active volunteer in the local nonprofit community.
